How It All Began
'Thrift Books with us' finally came into life in late 2021 after bookshop dream discussions of two bookworm friends. Over the years, the founders have been collecting books of different types from different local shops. Being the students who mainly collect English novels, we could not afford to buy brand new original books. At first, we have been chasing after locally reprinted books, but then, we found original preloved book market and so, we happily dived into it. With the main aim of expanding the local preloved books market, we planned to start our shop since the popularity of original thrift books market in Myanmar is low and underrated compared to reprinted books market. Also, buying pre-loved books somehow encourage for the authors.
The truth is that books aren’t just our job. They’re our passion. We would be glad to help you find the book you’re looking for with reasonable prices.
